Some ask:

Is she Joseph?

Is she Moses?

Is she a prophet?

For she just knows things.

Where does she come from?

Is she chosen?

Can we catch her?

Which way is she going?

Is she Esther?

Bring her to me.

Is she royal?

For the people?

Will she creep through?

Will she peep you?

She is bold and intriguing.

Beautiful and meek too

I find it alluring

How she sees through

Complex things

And somehow 

Makes it simple

Is she Jeremiah?

Careful and tearful

Lamentations

Cries for the unstable

Isaiah, Hosea, Joel, who?

Is she gentile, a jew

Israelite, Hebrew

Aaron, Amos, Ezekiel

A judge like Deborah

Spreading the gospel

Jesus the Saviour

Apostle, disciple

True believer

Living word

The Bible

Go tell that fox

That she casts out devils

And heals, too

The Pharisees and Sadducees

Can’t stop it

Though they clock it

They wonder, some ask:

Who is she?

More than a prophet
